OUTREACH

Students will go on two international outreaches of several weeks over the 10 months. The outreaches will serve multiple purposes:

  • Give students an opportunity to evangelize and share the love of God with those of another culture
  • Allow students to be immersed in a different culture, to learn how others live and what they believe.
  • Gain an eye-opening experience to see how the Church operates in another part of the world. It will give worldwide vision to how God is building his Kingdom among the nations.
  • Students will use these outreaches to apply their storytelling and media skills on the field. Students will film, photograph, and write stories of the people they meet, the churches they visit, and the culture they live in. These stories will be edited once the students return home and may be used in World Mission Centre’s publications.
  • Students will have the opportunity to encourage Live School students, train facilitators, and speak at pastors’ conferences, and pray in local churches within the countries they go to.

We will also do local and regional outreaches on weekends, or during the week to help practice the skills they will learn such as evangelism, filmmaking, children’s ministry the arts, or prayer walking. Students will also speak in churches, home groups, bible studies, and help plan outreaches.

Throughout the school, students will learn fundraising techniques in order to raise money for their outreaches. They will be expected to raise the funds for the travel and accommodation during these trips.
