SOUTHERN AFRICA 2017

In July, a team from the World Mission Centre USA office is going on a two-month trip through several countries of Southern Africa. We will be traveling through and ministering in South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.

The trip has multiple purposes. The first is that we will host several pastors’ conferences in the various countries where we are expecting between 400-500 pastors to attend! These conferences will be held to encourage and mobilize the pastors who are already involved with Live School. We want to hear what God is doing through their students and give them vision for how they can go further in their missions efforts.

The second purpose of the trip is to bring in 44 more Live School units to start schools in Southern Africa. Our team will be training around 80 local facilitators who will lead the Live Schools, and once these schools are started, we can expect to train over 450 new missionaries! Based on our averages in Southern Africa, those missionaries could minister to over 22,000 people and plant at least 105 churches within 3-4 years!

As a testimony from Southern Africa, last March 35 schools were started in Mozambique and are busy training 253 students. Within the first 10 months, those students planted 12 churches in their surrounding villages, and they have not even graduated from Live School yet!

We are excited to see what God can do with the students who will be trained with the 44 new schools!

The last purpose of the Southern Africa trip is to visit people groups and local churches to tell their stories. Live School was first created to train teams to reach the remaining 100 least reached people groups of Southern Africa. Today, 99 of those 100 people groups have been reached with the gospel! Because of that incredible testimony, we want to tell just part of story of how God uses local believers to reach the unreached around them.

Tell the Live School Story

The last purpose of the Southern Africa trip is to visit people groups and local churches to tell their stories.
