REGIONAL DESCRIPTION:

God has been powerfully at work in South America since the 1980s.  What can only be described as revival in nations like Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia, has caused the church in South America to grow exponentially. The continent has also seen its share of economic, political, and social crisis. As a result, the people of God have been praying and crying out to Him like never before. The church in South America, powerful as it is in many ways and in many countries, is still trying to understand and embrace their role in reaching the world. With the exception of Brazil, many countries in South America are yet to become engaged in missions by equipping and releasing workers for the global harvest. It is in this context that World Mission Center and Live School seek to catalyze and fully equip all those who want to be obedient to the Lord of the harvest to “go.”

There are currently 5 Live Schools in South America, 4 in Argentina and 1 in Paraguay.

Werner and Adél Swart

Werner and Adél Swart have been serving as missionaries in different nations of the world for more than 20 years. After starting out as pastors in a local church in their native South Africa, they obeyed the Lord’s call on their lives to go and serve as missionaries to Argentina in 1996. As graduates from Didasko World Mission School, they initially served with Ed Silvoso in Argentina and helped to facilitate city-reaching strategies. In 2001, they returned to Africa and ministered in many nations across the continent and also served in the USA for a few months. In 2012 God called them back to Argentina, and since 2016 they have been serving as pastors of an international, English-speaking church on the northern outskirts of Buenos Aires. They joined the WMC team in 2017 to lead the roll-out of Live School in South America.
