Four Students... Four Churches

New Churches in Liberia

Amazing things are taking place in Liberia through Live School!

Chip Carroll, our regional leader for West & Central Africa, was moved to tears as he reviewed a Live School Certificate Request for a particular Live School operating in Liberia.

In this school, four of the students had to drop out either for health, family, or other reasons. Sadly, one of those four actually became sick and died. In addition to that, the host pastor of the school left to go to South Africa to attend a leadership training. This left only four students within the school.

However, each of these four students persevered through the training and they planted four churches…while the school was still in session! That is an average of one life-giving, sustainable church for every Live School student!

In addition, two of those four churches were planted among the Vai people, which until now was an unreached people group!

Chip says, “The sacrificial, persistent nature of these students is remarkable to me! I glorify my God in heaven for letting me see such fruit, such sacrifice, such love in demonstration. It makes it all worth it. GLORY TO GOD! Your labor in the Lord is not in vain!”

“Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.” Psalm 24:7-8
