West and Central Africa

Region Description:

Our focus is on West and Central Africa, where our mission is to, “Open up the bottleneck of laborers to the mission field.” Our goal is to see 1,000 Live Schools established in the WACA region, resulting in the planting of thousands of churches among the least reached. Even now, we are encouraging Live School host churches to reach the Unengaged-Unreached People Groups (UUPG’s) and Unreached People Groups (UPG’s) of WACA.

Stats:

Since February of 2019, all 24 countries of the WACA region are using Live School to train indigenous missionaries. We currently have over 600 Live Schools successfully running and over 6,000 students have gone through the program and have now planted over 1,200 churches throughout the WACA region.

Chip and Kathy Carroll

Chip and Kathy Carroll have been actively involved in missions for almost 30 years. Chip earned his Master of Divinity in 1999 and spent the next 12 years working in land development and cattle ranching. While they remained involved in missions throughout their business years, the Carrolls sold their ranch and business interests in 2011 to focus their attention on their passion to bring the gospel to the unreached. Since then, Live School (LS) has trained indigenous missionaries in all 24 countries of the West and Central Africa (WACA) region the Carroll’s oversee.  Chip and Kathy serve as the WACA Regional Directors for World Missions Centre.  Married in 1987, they have a growing family of 4 children, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons.
