Many exciting things are happening in Central America! One significant event is that a new president has been enthusiastically elected in El Salvador. The team prays that he will end much of the corruption that has stifled El Salvador and many other Central American countries. Pray that under his leadership El Salvador can become the model for all of Central America and that Live School can play a major role in seeing lives changed, conditions improve, and many laborers sent out into the harvest fields.
The Central America team has seen immense change in the small portions of each country where Live School has been introduced and implemented. God has provided key people and strategic avenues for Live School to grow and flourish in this region. World Mission Centre is privileged to be a part of seeing God use so many believers in Central America to save souls, transform communities, and mobilize nations to the Great Commission.
Bucky Drake and Jim Hartman
Bucky Drake and Jim Hartman were both called by God to offer their leadership skills to World Mission Centre in the fall of 2017. They felt the Lord’s call after participating in the launch of the Spanish translation of Live School at a seminary in Guatemala City. Soon after, they began leading, training, and fundraising for the Central America region of WMC.
Their team was blessed as God led them to dedicated Christian men and women who have extraordinary access to Central American countries: Bettie Colson in Guatemala, Barbara Row and Veronica Guererro in El Salvador, Jonatan Picado in Costa Rica, and Harry Hebbertt in Nicaragua. Ron Perryman and his wife Lisa have also joined the Central American team in Columbia, SC. Ron now leads operations in Costa Rica and Lisa is the Central America Prayer Coordinator.
Currently, there are 10 active Live Schools in 4 countries with 60 students in training. The first Live School class graduated in October 2018 from a school in San Salvador. There is renewed enthusiasm in Nicaragua and Costa Rica in 2019 as the team anticipates adding 20 new schools this year.
Recently, Bucky and Jim introduced World Mission Centre and Live School to a group of pastors in Panama. They are now putting together another Pastor Orientation meeting for May of 2019. They hope to conduct Pastor Orientations in Belize and Mexico later in 2019 as well.

Blogs, Stories and testimonies from the Central America Region
In 2017 we met Alex Guarerro during the launch of the Spanish translation of Live School. He shared his conversion story and convinced us to bring Live School to El Salvador, which we did a few months later.
God conquered obstacles in San Salvador and Guatemala and blessed those who were doing a good work.
Pastors in two more countries of Central America begin to utilize Live School.
